1999- the year I concluded that I was the luckiest person alive. Why..well had a job in had thanks to the IT boooom..A course completion certificate ( best I could do) and the hope of earning some big bucks. Had a 4 week induction training at Trivandrum the capital of Kerala, my home town a distant 8 hours from this..but..what the hell.. I was starting to earn. It was superb. Everything was falling in place. Allah meherban tho gadha pehelwan is what some of my friends from North used to say. Very true!!
Started Smoking and Drinking on my money. Wont say hard earned as I was and am a lazy bum. What the heck it was my money..I didn't care.
TCS my first company..This is where I learnt anything and everything about Computers.Don't claim to be a genius like some of my friends in college, but learnt how to develop solutions in some cases on my own.
Somebody had said " Success is not defined by the destination, but the distance you travelled"
From not knowing what a computer was...yes was a CSE student..but then you need to attend classes..to working in one of the most mature organisations in the Indian IT industry. it really was a long journey for me.
Ended up spending my first few years after college with my batchmates. Shailee, Ravikanth, Koothu, Jomon, Reji, Anumod, Madhab...and the list goes on!!
Was fun.
